About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

5 hour transit to Taiwan

I am flying from Canada to Taiwan, connecting flight at shanghai. I hold a Canadian passport. Do I qualify for the 24 hour TWOV? Does Taiwan count as third country?

Taiwan does count as a third country. You won't have a problem.
