Hi,I'm an Indian citizen (Indian Passport Holder on Hong Kong Work Permit) and will be flying from Hong Kong (HKG) to Rome (FCO) with stop-over of 2hrs 40 mins in Shanghai Pudong on Jan 13th, 2018. The airline is China Eastern. I do not intend to leave the airport during the transit and this stop-over is just an international transfer for me. Do I need a transit visa or do I qualify for 24 hr TWOV?Thanks,Debashis

You won't be passing immigration in Shanghai although there's a security check.
