About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Humanitarian visa for China

Hi, I'm currently on X2 student type that end on 12th of January. I will finish my semester before that time but I need more time to get some other documents before i go back home. Do you know what documents i need to apply for the so called humanitarian visa and is it possible to get it with my current entry permit?

Hi, it's possible to apply for an extension 7 days earlier before your current X2 type expires if you want to stay longer than the duration of stay. You should first prepare your passport and the copy, valid registration form of temporary residence, the application form, passport-style photo, and JW form and admission letter from the school as well as the physical examination record.
And then submit the application to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to apply for the extension.

Could you please explain to me what is JW form? Also, my medical examination is older was done in August, can I apply with that one? Thank you.
