Transit in Capital Airport

This may be asking for much but I am travelling alone and therefore require some assistance. I have a short 1 and 20 min transit at PEK and do not intend on leaving the airport, so I don't need the 72 hour free visa (I think). My Itinerary is as follows London to PEK to Haneda Tokyo and then after 2 weeks Haneda-BJ-Heathrow (return ticket).

Once I arrive at BJ do I just follow the transit signs...go to international transit desk, fill in the visa form thing thats provided during flight ----- then go to the area/queue (line) that states 'transit for international flights within 24 hours....go to foreigners (immigration area/queue)..then go to the train to head to departure gate.

I don't need to go to luggage area as I'll only have carry on luggage with me. Could you tell me if the above is correct...if not could you correct me.

Thank you.

As I know, some steps are missed. After your arrival, you should follow the guiding signs for the transfer circuit to go to the Transfer Counter at 3rd floor for handling boarding procedures and go through immigration, personal security check and customs inspection, and then go to corresponding boarding gate.
Then you can go to the transfer desk.
