Trip to Taiwan from 15/9-21/9/17

I will be making a trip to Taiwan from 15/9-21/9/17. Will these dates clash with the typhoons season. I also heard that Sept is the rainy season in Taiwan, is it true? What will be the best period to visit Taiwan?

Yes, it’s still in the typhoon season and it’s the rainy season, too.
As I can see, October and November may be the better choice to visit there. The temperature range from 20C to 30C, and there are more sunny days.
