About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

transit visa issues

Hi,

if I leave AUS with flight to Beijing and have layover in Qingdao Liuting International Airport. Can I still use this transit Visa to leave the airport in Beijing only?

Also am I eligible for this if I buy 2 one way tickets from different airlines? so 1 itinerary from AUS to Beijing and a seperate one from Bejing to the US?

I think you mean the 72h twov?
It´s NOT a transit visa, that´s totally different.
When you wanna use the 72h twov, just 1 stop within China is allowed.
In your case, you can´t use the 72h twov.
When your stay in China is under 24h, you´re eligible for the 24h free transit.
You can have 2 stops in China and can leave the airport in BJ.

2 seperate tickets are fine if you match the requirements.
