About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Australian passport holder arriving in Xiamen on a cruise

Hello,

We are going on a cruise from Hong Kong which is stopping at 3 ports in China:
1. Xiamen - 1 day
2. Shanghai - 1 day
3. Beijing (Tianjin) - 2 days

Then cruising to South Korea.

Do we qualify for the 144 hour free visa?

If not, do we need to apply for a single entry visa or a multiple entry visa?

Hi, you are not eligible for the 144 hour free transit, and you need to apply for a tourist L type for that.

Are we eligible for the new
15-Day Visa-Exemption Policy for Foreign Tour Groups Entering Shanghai by Cruise?
