About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

want to visit china for 3 days

Hello, i want to visit china for 3 days to meet my girlfriend parents. i have valid alien card in Korea and E3 visa status. which documents i need to prepare to apply the visa. and how much time will it take to get a visa. i want to go to Zhejang province. One more thing is, i tried calling the embassy a lot and it stay busy. what's with that?

You can apply for a tourist L type for that. Usually, you need to provide ARC card in Korea, passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-style photo, and an invitation letter from your girlfriend.
A single-entry tourist L type costs 55,000 won.
The hot line is always busy, so it is hard to get through. This is normal.

I mean the copy of your passport’s data page.
The Invitation Letter should include:
(1) Information of you (incl. full name, gender, date of birth, etc.);
(2) Details of the planned visit (incl. arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, accommodation arrangements, etc.);
(3) Information of your girlfriend (incl. name of organization or person concerned, contact telephone number, address, official stamp of the organization, signature of the legal representative or individual).

Thank you for your guidance. i have one more question which is about data page. what is that and where can i find the data page of ARC. FURTHERmore, what contents should the invitation letter from my girlfriend should include i.e. her identifications, financial support or anything else more. Regards, Sam
