clearing customs on a connecting flight

Question

I am flying from Houston to Hong Kong via Beijing via China Air.  Will I have to get my baggage and clear customs there or in Hong Kong?Thanks

In most of international arrival flights you must pick up your bag.So get ready to run.Once you picked up your bag you must find the check in and after pass through security.I always fly with KLM and southern chinese because they use same terminal (2).But terminal 3 its too big
