How long will it takes to clear both HK and China Immigration? How early do you recommend to arrived at the station prior to the train departure time.

The checkin should begin 45min in advance and then you need to go through the immigration. So you can reach the station about 1 hour in advance if you already have your paper ticket in hand. If you need to collect the paper ticket, you need more time prepared for the ticket collection.
