clearing immigration at guangzhou airport as a transfer passenger

Question

China Southern flight arrived late at CAN. I almost missed my connecting flight to Chongqing because I had to queue in the usual line to clear immigration. No fast option provided. Any suggestions? Have a missed any fast queue for late arrivals? I was unsuccessful in requesting options. I leave China in 2 days and want to know what to do when I find myself in similar situation.

So you will leave China in 2 days and it’s not a transfer, right? If so, you are suggested to arrive at the airport 2 hours earlier. Generally speaking, that’s surly an enough time.
