About:China Visa Application in UK

I am going on a cruise where I visit Xiamen 1 day, Hong Kong 2 days.

Then disembark in Shanghai for 3 days and fly back to the uk. Do I qualify for the 144 hour visa free policy?

Linda, if you travel like a country or region rather than HK-Xiamen (1 day)-HK-Shanghai (3 days)-UK, you will be able to use the 24 hour direct transit in Xiamen and the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. You’d better double check that with the cruise ship company.
