I'm cruising from singapore to hong kong one day than one night in shanghai do I need a visa

After staying for one night in Shanghai, if you will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from, you may be able to enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai. You are advised to confirm that with the cruise ship company.
