However I'll leave China in a couple of weeks to go traveling in other countries. I'm planning to come back to China in januar for two weeks but before coming back I won't pass through my home country. Is it possible for me to apply for the januar-visa now while i'm still in China? Or what's the best option for me?

Frederikke, you mean you hold a student X2 type, right? If yes, you can only try to apply for a new X2 type when you travel in other countries. I’m afraid you cannot apply for the januar-visa now while you are still in China.
