Do we need a Visa

In March next year my husband and I will visit Shanghai as part of a cruise that starts in Australia then sails over to Japan before stopping in Shanghai. We have British passports and will be there for approx 8 hours before sailing on to another country. Will we need a visa for that one day?

According to your schedule, you can avail of the 144-hour visa free transit and do not need to apply for the visa. You may double confirm with your cruise company beforehand.
