About:Shanghai Travel

Do we qualify for the 240 hour visa free policy

We fly from Honolulu to Haneda, JPN, then overnight in Haneda. The next day, we fly from Haneda to Shanghai. Our return is Shanghai to Haneda, 8 hour layover, then fly to Honolulu. Dies this itinerary qualify for the 240hour is free policy?

Sorry, it doesn't qualify for the 240h visa-free transit as the route is Japan - China - Japan, not an international transit route.

A proper route to fit the 240-hour visafree policy is like "A - China - B". A and B shall be 2 different country/regions. HK, TW and Macao are accepted to be the "A" or "B". Maybe try "Japan - China -Korea" or "Japan - China - Hong Kong"? Have a nice trip! :-)
