What type of clothing for weather in Hong Kong/Macau for last week of October 2016.

Hi, I am travelling to MacaO on 21.Oct till 23.Oct from HKIA to MacaO by ferry.
The weather forecast predicted there will be wind and rain from Typhoon.
Will the ferry still operating at such weather?
I also need advise what should I prepared besides rain coat instead of umbrella...?

I prepared to bring shorts / bermudas but 1 group of friends told me night time shorts is possible, but another group of friends told me it will be very cold.
I am troubled with my luggage now.
I have planned to stay in HK on the last week of October.

Can someone please advice?

In the two cities, it will be cloudy and rain lightly sometimes. The temperature will range from 70F to 80F. It is warm, and will not be very cold at night. You should pack light T-shirts, shorts, and raincoats. Have a nice trip!
