About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong - Macau - Guangzhou - Hong Kong

I'm a US citizen, wondering if a trip from:
US - Hong Kong - Macau - Guangzhou - Hong Kong - US qualified for a 240 hour visa free transit?

This itinerary is even better than the previous one. Like this you can exit from Macau toward mainland China via Hengqin border crossing (southern part of Macau, so called Cotai area). Please, have in mind that you cannot use Portas do Cerco/Gongbei crossing when traveling on 240 hour visa free transit. You can reach it by public transport or taxi. You will perform the same formalities as if you were using Hong Kong West Kowloon station, but this time you will have to present your train ticket from Guangzhou to Hong Kong as a proof of your transit. Basically, this is all quite straightforward and is used by many. Have a nice visit to China.
