About:Passport

I have passport from Dominican Republic. I am a US resident, i have permanent resident card.

I have friends who will be in China for transit for 48 hours and I wanted to go. but I don't see my passport country in the list of exemptions for the 72 hour free transit. does that mean I have to go to the embassy and get a regular visa although I will only be there for 48 hours?

Igor, yes, you need to apply for a regular visa for China if you will transit there for 48 hours.
