Do I need a Visa?

We will be traveling from Sydney to France in January 2017. We want to do a 4 day stopover in Shanghai before returning to France. My husband will be traveling with an Australian passport and I have an American passport. Do either of us need a Visa? Or can we qualify for the 144 hour free visa?

Thank you, Connie.

If you fly from Sydney to Shanghai and then go to France, you are qualified for the 144-hour visa fee transit. You can double check this with the airline companies beforehand.
