About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

I am traveling as a tourist on Oct 23 for a cruise Oct 24-29th out of Shanghai,

and then traveling to Yunnan Province until Nov. 6th. If I know the cities I am visiting, but do not know every hotel yet, can I visit the consulate with my Visa application and finish the process now? don't want to have to decide every hotel yet.

Don, if you have a friend in PRC who can issue an invitation letter to you, the hotel reservation won’t be necessary. Otherwise, you need to provide proof of most of your accommodation arrangement.
