11 hours stay in Xiamen

We are taking a cruise from HK to Japan and will stop in Xiamen for 11 hrs. Do we need a visa for this visit to China?

Carlos, you are eligible for the 24-hour free transit according to relevant rules, but you had better confirm this with your cruise company because some of the cruise companies require a visa no matter you can enjoy the free transit policy or not.
