I am going to stay in Taiwan for a month and need gift ideas to get the two kids.

One boy and one girl. What colors should the toys be also? I have been told don't get white gifts that it signifies death. get red it means happiness.

According to their culture and traditions, red color is more appropriate. Other bright-colored and cute toys are also good. :)

An extra note, people from Taiwan don't always like to be referred to under the same umbrella as China/ Chinese. They have commonalities, but are still quite different in culture and background. Anything bright, fun, new/ current, or represent where you're from works too.
