About:Telephone & Cellphone in China

I will be around Beijing - Shanghai - Hangzhou for 12 days. I need data & voice call.

- which prepaid SIM Card is the best (for 3G coverage)?
- If I need to pay deposit for a new prepaid SIM Card, is it refundable?
- Is it true that I can't access Google & Google Map? If it's true - what maps apps is the best for searching direction in English?

There are CN Mobile, CN Telecom, and CN Unicom providing 3G signal. You should find out which one can be used by your phone and get the SIM Card with your passport. You should pay CNY100 for opening the card and it is refundable.
Google and Google Map cannot be used in CN. Maybe you can download a VPN APP on your phone to help you access them.
