I have a british passport can I get visas on arrival for business

Paresh, it depends on which city you plan to go. You can possibly get the VOA if you enter Shenzhen, Shantou, Zhuhai, Xiamen, and Hainan. If you visit other cities, you need to get an entry permit in advance.
