About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

HK > Beijing > HK

Hi, I am wanting to travel from Hong Kong to Beijing and back to Hong Kong. Am I able to enjoy a visa free 72 hours with this route? I can see that its required to show proof of a 'third country or region' however I am travelling back to my original destination. If someone can please advise, that would be wonderful! Thanks.

Tyler, as you said, it's required to show proof of a 'third country or region'. So if you travel back to the original destination, you cannot enjoy the free transit policy.
