About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Can I use Shanghai Public Transportation Card more than one person at same time

What is the validity of the card and what is the cost of it?
If the cost is CNY 100, can I use CNY 100 100%?
And this card only use in this city or can use in other cities?

1. No, you can only use it for one person at one time.
2. The validity of the card is 5 years. The deposit is CNY 20, and you can top it up to no more than CNY 1000.
3. Yes. You can overdraw CNY 8 at most when the balance is not enough to pay the fees. But you cannot use it when the balance is zero or negative numbers.
4. No, it can widely be used in nearby cities.
Green, yellow and red cards also can be used in Wuxi, Kunshan, Changshu, Fuyang, Huainan, Suzhou (buses), Hangzhou (some taxis), Nanning (some taxis), and Dafeng (taxis).
Purple cards can be used in Taicang, Jinhua, Yixing, Ningbo, Shaoxing, Huzhou, Taizhou, Changshu, Kunshan, Jiangyin, Huaian, Qidong, Wuxi, Nantong, Taizhou, Changxing, and Zhoushan.
