Can you give any information about when and how long the vacations are for students?

Kobe, summer and winter vacations are two main holidays for students. Summer vacation usually start from the beginning of July to the end of August. However, the winter vacation usually start from the mid. or late January until the end of Lantern Festival (Jan. 15 on Chinese lunar calendar).
