hello i will travelling around china by rail soon is their any restrictions on carrying knifes in my luggage,only want to take a penknife also is their a limit on alcoholic drinks bought on board thanks. Stuart

There are general policies on luggage. Items which may harm other passengers, such as knives (fruit knife included). You may can't take your penknife with you. For alcohol, you could take less than 3.5 fl oz. You could try to check more info. on this site.
