About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hong Kong and Macau visas

Hi,
I'm a Vietnamese who is currently working as a researcher in South Korea. In this next January, I and my friends are going to travel to Hong Kong and Macau for 3-4 days. Could you please do me a favor by guiding me how to apply for those 2 entry permits, which papers do I need to prepare and how about fees? Is it possible if I go to the Chinese Consulate in Busan instead of the one in Seoul for my application?
I'm looking forward to receiving your response and very grateful for that. Thanks again and have a nice day! Kind regards

Hey, man, actually, HK and Macau entry permits are different, so you need to apply two separate entry permits, and both of them require the basic documents including your passport and its photocopy, the application form and your recent color photo, and your financial support proof. Other required documents vary a little bit.
For HK: transportation arrangement such as joint-way air tickets, and your itinerary. The fee is HK$190 if the application is transferred to HK SAR Immigration Department.
For Macau: return air tickets and hotel reservations, travel plan, and your work permit in South Korea. It usually charges USD50 which include USD30 of application fee and USD20 of communication fee if the application is sent to Macao.
After, hand in those materials to the embassy of PRC in Korea and wait for the result.
If the area you live in belongs to the consular district of Chinese Consulate in Busan, then you can apply for it there.
