About:How to Apply for a China Visa

I had a red flag on my USA passport

Ok here it goes. I had a reg flag (which is an arrest warrant) on my USA passport. My USA passport was also canceled by the State where the case is. I tried to enter China with that passport (not knowing they had canceled my passport and has a red flag). I was denied entry. Chinese immigration stamp "canceled visa" on my page and told me my passport was expired.

Fast forward a few month, I got my case in the US resolved and looking now to apply for a new passport and entry permit. My question is: Will I have any trouble or difficulty in getting into PRC? Do they have like a database of passport records?

Thank you for your help everyone!

Lance, I personally think that you should try again to apply with your new passport. If you apply, you at least have 50 percent chance. If you don't, you have no chance. And we individuals never know whether they have the database or passport records you mentioned.
