About:China Visa Exemption

Taiwan - China - Taiwan (australian passport holder)

I am australian currently studying in Taiwan.
I wish to visit a friend in Shanghai for the weekend then return to Taiwan.

Is this permissible?

Joshua, as this route does not qualify for the 72-hour free transit policy, you need to get a visa in advance.
