About:Shanghai Bus and Metro

Shanghai to Haimen, Jiangsu

Hi there, I am planning to take a bus from SH to Haimen in Jiangsu on this Sunday and was looking into the later busses (after 6pm).
I have looked online and it seems that most busses run from South Bus Station or West Bus Station. Can anyone advise which is closer if I am coming from People's Square / Xintiandi in Puxi? Or is there any other alternative routes? Thanks in advance!

Well, according to your requirements, General Bus Station is much nearer, not the mentioned ones.
From People's Square, you can take subway line 1 to get to Main Railway Station, Exit 4. Then walk northwest around 0.6 miles to find the bus station.
The bus schedules after 18:00 are 18:20, 18:40 and 19:20. It costs CNY 52 per person.
