About:Chinese Zodiac Compatibility

I am attracted to a lady. Are we truly compatible?

know her my entire life but I don't know if we are truly compatible and if I should pursue her, she's born December 1, 1988 and my birthday is July 15, 1980. I know she's a dragon and I'm a monkey but are we truly compatible because she's a Sagittarius and I'm a Cancer? Would we truly be compatible if paired?
