Travelling Taiwan in December

I've booked Air ticket to Kaohsiong in mid of December,
Is the weather very cold? 12-19th suitable to go Kenting?

No, it is not cold then. I read the weather records of the past years of that area, the lowest temp is around 15C and the highest reaches 26-28C. It will be warm then with a majority of cloudy days, good for trip.
