About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

us passport visiting mainland china from hong kong for 1day, do we need visa?

Hi,
My family of 5 are holding us passport. We will be traveling to hong kong for a week in september this year. We are planning to visit guangzhou for 1 day by train. Hk to Guangzhou by train in the morning and back to hk late evening the same day.

Yes, you need to apply for one entry permit for each person before your trip starts.
