About:China Visa Application in USA

can I use an active tourist visa on an expired passport?

I have an active 10yr tourist visa on a now expired US passport; I have a renewed passport, can I travel to China with both passports or do I have to apply for a new tourist Visa on my new passport?

You can travel with your two passports. There is no need to apply for a new visa.
