David, by saying round trip, do you mean to fly from Manila to Shanghai and then back to Manila? If so, I’m afraid you can’t make use of the free transit policy because the rule goes that you can’t go back to the departure country. To avail yourself of the policy, I suggest you fly from Manila to Shanghai and then to HK before back to Manila. In this way, you can make use of the free transit policy.
