About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

US Citizens in Bangkok want to get Chinese Tourist Visas

G'day,

My wife and I will be visiting Bangkok for about 5 days and wanted to know if we could get a Chinese L type while in Bangkok? If so, what documents are currently required and how much would it cost.

There is a lot of contradictory info on the net due to being dated info...looking for most up to date info for April 2015?

Hey Ken! As far as I know, citizens from a third country can apply in Bangkok as long as they are holding valid Thai entry permits. The documents required for submission are your valid passport, a copy of the passport’s data page, a filled application form affixed with your recently-taken passport-type photo, the original and photocopy of your Thai entry permits, and round way tickets and hotel booking for China trip.

The fee is 4560 THB for each person.
