i would like to know if i can apply for a family visa once my z type expires in june

I have been working in Shenyang for six years but my contract will end in june 2015. I'm married to a local and have a son also born here. Before the expiry of my Z type, I would like to know if I can apply for a family type in Shenyang to allow me unrestricted entry and exit during the period? Our marriage is registered both here and my home country, Malaysia. If so, what are the requirements and documents I need to prepare? Thank you, Johnson

Johnson, it depends on how local entry and exit management bureau deals with your case. If they agree, you can apply without going back to Malaysia. In this case, your passport, finished application form, a recent passport photo, your Chinese marriage certificate, your husband's Chinese ID card and your resident permit for employment are required.
