About:Tai'an Transportation

Train to Tai'an from Beijing or Shanghai.

Which city is nearer to TA - Shanghai or Beijing? Can I go to TA by the high speed train from any of these 2 cities? Thanks.

Actually, Beijing is nearer. The distance is about 300 miles.
And yes, you can take high speed train from Beijing or Shanghai to this city.

From Beijing South Railway Station, the schedules are from 07:00 to 19:11. It takes around 2 hours. The ticket fare of first class seat is CNY359 and second class seat is CNY214.

From Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, high-speed trains are from 07:10 to 17:33. It takes 3 to 4 hours on the way. The ticket fare of first class seat is CNY634 and second class seat is CNY374.
