visiting taiwan in july?

Is it the typhoon period with high rainfall? To avoid totally or still enjoyable?

Yes, July is during the typhoon season and frequently rainy days would happen, but most of them are light rain or showers. Considering all, it is still fine to visit during that period, because the shower or light rain doesn't last long. Just prepare enough summer clothes and rain gear. Check ahead the weather forecast as well.
