About:Xiamen Travel

Is it possible to go to Macau from Xiamen?

Hi!
We will be arriving XM at april 27 night time, then planning to go to Macau on the 28th, stay there overnight, go back to XM on the 29th. Is it possible to go to Macau from XM via ferry or train? If so, how long will it take?

I'm afraid no direct ferry or train can take you to Macau directly. If you don't mind, I'd suggest you fly from XM to Zhuhai in around 80min first. At Zhuhai Airport, shuttle buses to Macao downtown are available. It takes around 90min. For the round trip, you can use the same way.

PS. You need to hold Chinese mainland visa to tour between XM and Zhuhai.
