About:China Visa Exemption

Transition in Shanghai

I plan on visiting my friends in Shanghai for 1 night, I am a Canadian with a valid passport, will I be allowed to leave the airport and for how long? I will have an onward ticket booked within the 72 hours?

What are your last and next stops? If neither of them are part of mainland hina, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit policy, which enables you to leave the airport for 72 hours.
