About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transiting on separate bookings

I am booking separate flights, man to hnd then pvg to man all on one booking then buying a one way to pvg. Is this ok for the 72 hour?

Yes, it's OK and the 72h visa free transit has been prolonged to 240 hours, also the eligible areas are expanded to 24 provinces.
