Shanghai->Yellow Mountain, Tunxi Street, Xidi & Hongcun ->Hangzhou route suggestion

Good day and I need your advice.
I will be traveling from Shanghai, and would like to cover Yellow Mountain, Tunxi Ancient St, Xidi & Hongcun in 3d/2n or 4d/3n, and travel to Hangzhou city after. Could you please provide me advice to the following questions:
a) which city to cover (from first to last: Tunxi, Xidi, Hongcun, and Yellow Mountain) from Shanghai and end in Hangzhou that, logistically makes sense? Can you please provide a brief explanation on the route you suggested as well?
b) Which city to overnight in besides one night in the Yellow Mountain? Is overnight 1 night in Yellow Mountain suffice to see the main sights of Yellow Mountain?
c) Take cable car or hike up Yellow Mountain? Is it safe to hike up Yellow Mountain as a solo female?

I really appreciate your time to help me with the above questions.
Thank you in advance!

1. Recommended route: Shanghai - Tunxi - Huangshan – Hongcun – Xidi. Just as you said, the route is logistically make sense and it will save you time.
2. Besides Yellow Mountain, you can spend one night in Hongcun or Xidi. One day and one night would be enough in Yellow Mountain.
3. It is safe. Considering time and energy, you’re suggested to go up by cable car and go down by walk.

Have fun in your journey!
