US passport holder can get a VOA?

I'm working and travelling from the GCC with a US passport. Will I be allowed a 10-day stay in HK on arrival showing only my passport which doesn't expire for more than a year?

USA passport holders are able to enjoy a 9-day free entry to visit HK, so you are allowed to stay in HK for around 10 days without a VOA.
