About:China Visa

i have a 03 months x2 visa , how many times can i extend my x2 in china as a student.

I will be re applying in jan 2015 for 9 months for my X type to complete my one year stay. if I get a x2 or X1 can I leave china and return with the same one before it expires. there after can I also apply for a new one year student type for a extra new year once my present visa is ending.

According to what I know, you may extend your X2 type just only once. However, you'd better confirm this with local entry and exit management bureau. A single entry X2 type can't allow you to enter and renter China. If you have X1 type and change it to a temporary resident permit, then you can exit and reenter mainland China many times as you wish before it expires.
