About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

US Citizen that would like to apply for an L Visa in Vancouver Canada

Greetings,

Thank you for the great website. I've been going around in circles to see if I can apply in person for an L (Tourist) type at one of the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers. I'm not sure if I am eligible to apply at a Canadian service center as American.

Any thoughts? The Visa Service Center doesn't offer any answers and my online searches have proved fruitless so far. If I can apply in person in Vancouver versus flying to San Francisco that would be wonderful.

Thanks!

According to the rules, if you have local resident permit or working or study permit, you are able to apply in CVASC in Vancouver, otherwise, you are unable to apply in Canada.
