About:Chengdu Travel

Does anyone else become depressed by the complete lack of sunlight in Chengdu at this time of year?

I spent 5 days in the city in early October and never saw the sun - the days are either totally cloudy or smoggy, but no sun. Locals tell me that that's the way it is there! Ugh! I then took a plane to Shenyang in the Northeast and beautiful sunlight days in a row. Yes, a couple of days with smog but more sunshine thanks to those nice cold winds blowing in from Siberia. A much healthier place to visit, in my opinion.

Oh, the weather in the city is always like that. Either cloudy, or rainy. All in all you cannot feel the sunshine. But it is a moist city indeed.
